First Boy on the Moon was published soon after Sputnik was launched and before man had entered space. It is the fictional story of a kid named Mike McRoberts, his best friend Mud Maxwell and a frog named Murgatroyd, who accidentally stow away on the first mission to the moon.

The World Above is a non-fiction book about the earth, it's atmosphere and the skies above it. It explains interactions between the atmosphere, weather and climate and describes the consequences of polluting our environment. After exploring "Spaceship Earth", the reader is exposed to the properties of space, the sun and the universe beyond.

The Peter Potts series takes place in the small town of Fairfield, home of Peter Potts. Peter lives with his grandfather (Pop) and sister (Betts). Trouble seems to follow Peter everywhere. "Lots of times, I've noticed, you get in trouble by accident, when you're trying to something perfectly good and useful". Peter is helped in most of his adventures by his best friend, Joey Gootz, whose hobby is collecting world records. Together they spend much of their time trying to keep Pop out of trouble as he engages in "hobbying" - from lion taming to hypnotism.
